Long Tom Toboggan
The Long Tom Toboggan is designed and built on the principles of the tried and tested European model known as an “alpine coaster” or “sommerrodelbahn”. Winding and whooshing around the mountains in the Long Tom Pass our 1,7km monorail track can reach speeds of around 45kms/hour. Experience an adrenalin rush like never before. Pure exhilaration. Absolute fun.
Long Tom Scootours
The Long Tom Scootours is a sensational 5 km experience of downhill runs in the mountainous terrain of the Long Tom Pass. Staring at an altitude of 1765m and descending some 250m on a Monster Mountain Scooter, single tracking through open grasslands, patches of indigenous forest and vast pine plantations.
Guided Quad Biking
Take a one hour guided quad bike tour with one of our experienced guides through scenic routes using forestry roads, and secluded mountain paths, criss-crossing pine plantations, open veld and grasslands.
Walking Trail, Birding & Mountain Biking
Guests can also experience plentiful bird life on our walking/hiking trials. For a more adrenaline experience bring along your mountain bike and ride through pine forests or open grasslands with wide-ranging altitudes that caters for the novice to the most experienced riders.
Misty Mountain is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers. From gentle walks to adrenaline-pumping activities, guests can spend hours onsite experiencing the fullness of the destination.
